Whales do not cry is the project developed following the death of a minke whale found stranded on the coast of Mallorca in early 2019. The sculpture, made from iron plates, takes the skeleton of the whale as its aesthetic and symbolic reference.
It not only represents the vastness of this specimen but also highlights the causes of its death, which are driven by extreme ocean pollution, the urgent need to protect it, and the impossibility of halting the passage of time or undoing the harm caused by humans throughout history.
